About i-Scout

i-Scout is an AI-powered collectables monitoring and appraisal service operated as a sole trader business domiciled in the Republic of Ireland. By subscribing to i-Scout you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

i-Scout monitors publicly available eBay listings on your behalf, applies AI vision analysis to identify potential matches with your brief, and provides appraisal guidance to assist your purchasing decisions.

Subscriptions & billing

i-Scout operates on a monthly rolling subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month via Stripe. The following plans are available:

• Starter — €20/month: One Scout category, unlimited standard alerts, 20 Deep Analyses
• Collector — €45/month: Up to three Scout categories, unlimited standard alerts, 60 Deep Analyses
• Dealer — €90/month: Unlimited categories, unlimited standard alerts, 150 Deep Analyses

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew each month until cancelled. You will receive a payment receipt after each renewal. A reminder email is sent before your first renewal. You may cancel at any time by contacting [email protected].

Cancellation

You may cancel your i-Scout subscription at any time with no penalty and no questions asked. To cancel:

• Email [email protected] with your cancellation request
• Your Scout will be deactivated at the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• Partial months are not refunded unless there has been a service failure on our part

We will confirm your cancellation by email within 24 hours of receiving your request.

Standard alerts & Deep Analysis

Your subscription includes two levels of service:

• Standard Alert: An automated email notification when a potential match is identified, including the listing image, asking price, and a brief AI assessment. Included free with all plans on an unlimited basis.
• Deep Analysis: A full professional appraisal report including authenticity assessment, condition grading, comparable sales data, and a detailed buying recommendation. Deep Analyses are drawn from your monthly allowance. Additional Deep Analyses may be purchased at €2 per 10.

You will be notified when your Deep Analysis allowance is running low. Your Scout will never exceed your monthly budget without your explicit approval.

Nature of our appraisals — important

i-Scout appraisals are estimates based on available photographic evidence and comparable sales data. They do not constitute professional valuations, certified authentications, or guarantees of any kind. i-Scout strongly recommends independent expert verification before making any significant purchase.

i-Scout is not responsible for purchasing decisions made on the basis of its alerts or appraisals. The responsibility for any purchase decision rests entirely with the subscriber.

eBay Buyer Protection

In most circumstances, purchases made through eBay are covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee. If an item you receive is not as described or materially differs from the listing, eBay's Buyer Protection policy generally entitles you to a full refund. We encourage all subscribers to familiarise themselves with eBay's buyer protection terms before making any purchase.

i-Scout is not affiliated with eBay and cannot guarantee the outcome of any eBay Buyer Protection claim.

Service availability

i-Scout uses commercially reasonable efforts to provide a continuous and reliable monitoring service. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service and accept no liability for:

• Temporary outages due to maintenance, server issues, or third-party service disruptions
• Changes to eBay's platform or API that affect monitoring capability
• Listings that are removed, ended early, or sold before an alert can be delivered
• Alerts not delivered due to email delivery failures outside our control

In the event of a significant service outage lasting more than 48 hours, affected subscribers will receive a pro-rata credit on their next billing cycle.

Acceptable use

Subscribers may not use i-Scout for any unlawful purpose, to monitor listings for the purpose of fraud or deception, or to resell or redistribute i-Scout appraisal reports without permission. i-Scout reserves the right to terminate any subscription where misuse is suspected, without refund.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from the use of i-Scout shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
